Abu Dhabi Tourist Authority Opens UK Office
LONDON, UK, February 03, 2006. The official headquarters of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) in the UK, was officially opened by HH Sheikh Sultan Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the ADTA last night.
The office will be run by Ian Harrower, newly appointed country manager of ADTA in the UK. Ian has 25 years of National Tourist Office management experience throughout Europe with Visit Britain and most recently as Managing Director, Canadian Tourism Commission for UK and Ireland.
Commenting on the new office, Ian said, "We are delighted to open a UK tourist office for the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority. This is particularly significant as we recognise western Europe, especially UK as an important market for future developments and investments within Abu Dhabi.
