JMBM's Global Hospitality Group to Host Hotel Developers ConferenceTM
LOS ANGELES CA, February 16, 2006. The Hotel Developers ConferenceTM, an annual meeting of hospitality industry leaders, sponsored by the Global Hospitality Group(R) of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro llp (JMBM), will take place March 8-9, 2006, at the Rancho Las Palmas Marriott Resort & Spa in Rancho Mirage, Calif. "There is tremendous industry demand for a forum where hotel and resort developers can share cutting-edge strategies and discuss lessons learned," said hotel lawyer Jim Butler, chairman of JMBM's Global Hospitality Group. He noted that a crowd of 500 participated in the conference last year, and another 200 had to be turned away.
The Hotel Developers Conference will cover development and construction issues for the full spectrum of hotel and resort projects: stand-alone and mixed-use, condo hotels and hotel condos, residence clubs and fractionals. Additionally, the pre-conference "Condo Hotel Boot Camp, " will pack the critical information from a full-day course on condo hotels into an intense 4-hour program. Designed for those who want to get up to speed quickly on the condo hotel model, the Condo Hotel Boot Camp will cover both ground-up developments and conversions. "It seems that everyone is interested in adding a residential component to their hotel or resort development," said Jim Butler. "But there are few resources for acquiring solid information from those who have actual experience with condo hotels."
