JNTO Slates Travel Fair in Bangkok

JTNO organises travel fare to celebrate 120 years of Japanese and Thai diplomatic relations.

TOKYO, Japan, December 4, 2006. The Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) is organising the Japan Travel Fair 2007 on the 1st floor of Bangkok's Emporium shopping complex between 1000-2200, from Thursday, 18 January - Sunday, 21 January 2007. The fair aims to introduce Japan's attractions and raise awareness in its culture ahead of Thailand-Japan Tourism Exchange Year 2007, which commemorates the 120th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

JNTO and Japanese tourism authorities will man booths to provide information on attractions and special products in major cities. Travel agencies will also be on hand to sell the latest tour packages to Japan. Cultural activities and stage performances include martial arts, cos-play fashion shows and talk shows on travelling in Japan.
