Hilton Sells Minneapolis Hotel for $92 mil
BEVERLY HILLS, CA, March 23, 2006- Continuing to divest itself of assets, Hilton Hotels Corp. has sold the 821-room Hilton Minneapolis to 1001 Marquette LLC for about $92 million. The hotel will continue to be managed by Hilton under a long-term agreement, the company said in a statement.
The new ownership, a Delaware limited liability company, is expected to spend $15 million to upgrade the hotel over the next three years, it said.
