Ft Lauderdale to Host CLIA Annual Conference
The premier cruise industry event, cruise3sixty, returns to Greater Fort Lauderdale
GREATER FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, April 5, 2006. The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) has once again chosen Greater Fort Lauderdale as the host destination for its annual cruise industry conference, cruise3sixty, which is being held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/ Broward County Convention Cente r, from April 8-11, 2006.
Following a tremendously successful inaugural event in 2005, which celebrated CLIA's 30th anniversary, the organization immediately decided to return to Broward County for the event's second year. Among the activities scheduled is a "Dine-around event on Las Olas" with partner American Express enabling attendees to experience the haute dining scene along this hip boulevard of boutiques, galleries, restaurants and cafes.
"CLIA truly believes that the venue, the Broward County Convention Center, combined with the destination's diverse attractions, provides a strong draw for the nearly 1,400 attendees and will help make cruise3sixty 2006 an unprecedented success," said Terry L. Dale, CLIA's president and CEO.
