Choice Shows AAA Appreciation
APRIL 10, 2006. Two hundred volunteers. One thousand offices. Nearly 8,600 agents, counselors and managers in the U.S. And 10,000 kits of materials distributed. Those were the numbers when the week was complete.
From March 13-17, Choice field associates and franchisees hosted AAA Appreciation Week by hitting the road to say "thank you" to AAA agents and counselors for generating more than $200 million of revenue for Choice in 2005.
"The AAA Appreciation Week program was undeniably a success," said Caroline Racine, director, intermediary marketing and worldwide sales. "The AAA offices and headquarter clubs were extremely positive about our visits, and agents and counselors seemed to appreciate our 'thank you' gift and gas card booking incentives."
AAA Appreciation Week objectives included strengthening AAA agents' loyalty to Choice with a 'thank you' gift of discounted rates for a stay at a Choice hotel between March 17 and May 15; increasing business from AAA agents by promoting the spring promotions for the economy and midscale brands; and driving incremental business during competitive spring season with customized agent and counselor booking incentives.
