Evason's Hua Hin Sisters Achieve Green Globe Certification
DECEMBER 8, 2006. Sister resorts, Evason Hua Hin and Evason Hideaway at Hua Hin, managed by Six Senses Resorts & Spas, have achieved prestigious Green Globe Benchmarked status under the worldwide Green Globe Certification Programme. This recognises the properties' commitment to operating at the world's highest environmental standards. It is one of the first resorts in Southeast Asia to be benchmarked by Green Globe.
To attain certification, the Evason properties first had to successfully benchmark against a number of key environmental performance areas, including water usage, waste management and energy efficiency. They had to achieve a level above the Green Globe benchmark figure, which is measured against the performance of operations of similar size properties, operating within the same sector and region.
