Sunstone Added to S&P REIT Index
SAN CLEMENTE, CA, Monday, May 01, 2006. Sunstone Hotel Investors, Inc. will be added to the Standard and Poor's REIT Composite Index effective at the close of trading today.
Launched in 1997, S&P's REIT Composite Index tracks the market performance of U.S. REITs. The REIT Composite consists of 100 REITs chosen for their liquidity and importance in representing a diversified real estate portfolio. The index covers over 80% of the securitized U.S. real estate market.
