World of Accor Accor Returns to Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square

Group to announce new hotel signings in three key destinations

BANGKOK, Thailand, May 30, 2006. Asia Pacific's largest hotel expo, World of Accor, returns to Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square 1 June for the second time as part of an 11 city tour, highlighting the importance of Thailand to Accor's growing regional hotel network.

World of Accor events have already been held in Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Singapore in March, April and May with over 2,000 representatives from the travel industry and media attending the expo and press functions. After Bangkok, World of Accor moves to Jakarta for the final show in

Asia, with three final events planned for Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney in early August.

Over 50 representatives from Accor's worldwide network of over 4,000 hotels will participate in the trade expos to showcase new hotel product, and to discuss with clients their domestic, inbound and outbound hotel needs.

Travel agents, wholesalers, corporate travel bookers, meetings, conference and exhibition specialists and travel industry partners are all welcome to attend the events.

o Jakarta - 14 June

During the next two years Accor will add over 70 hotels around Asia Pacific, bringing the group's network close to 350 hotels. Its fast growing network is raising the profile of Accor hotel brands with local travel agents and their clients, placing Accor hotels top of mind when Singaporean's travel overseas.

According to Accor Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing - Asia Pacific, Ray Stone, Accor would announce important hotel signings in three destinations and update plans for hotel openings in 2006 and into next year.

Accor is the largest international management company in Thailand with 25 hotels around Thailand and three more openings planned during 2006.
