ATLANTA, GA, June 28, 2006. For the third consecutive year, the IAHI Owners' Association of InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and IAHI will offer the one-of-a-kind Leadership Institute. Exclusively for IAHI members, this year's program will take place from August 29-September 1 at General Electric's John F. Welch Leadership Development center in Crotonville, New York.

The educational program is open to 30 individuals selected by the IAHI and IHG.

"This unique program is like receiving a three-day MBA," says David Hart, IAHI Chairman and president and chief executive officer of Hart Hotels, Inc. in Buffalo, New York. "The focus will be on improving leadership and enhancing the skills of our fine hoteliers."

This year's curriculum is entitled "Creating and Leading Winning Teams and Organizations." The program will help participants analyze their interpersonal style and its impact on others, receive feedback on leadership skills, and further develop the competencies important to becoming effective leaders.

"This is one of the many benefits available to IAHI members and no one else in the industry offers something quite like this," says Steve Porter, IHG President, the Americas."
