Funjet.com Deploys Passport Service
JULY 17, 2006. The Mark Travel Corporation is entering into a strategic relationship with OfficialTravelDocuments.com to offer customers and travel agents an online option for passport, visa and birth certificate services.
The first major vacation company to launch this service is the flagship brand of Mark Travel, Funjet Vacations. The new online offering comes in advance of new federal rules requiring passports for all air and sea travel between the United States and Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean, starting Jan. 1, 2007.
In addition to Funjet Vacations, the vacation brand Web sites for United Vacations, ATA Vacations, Midwest Airlines Vacations, Spirit Vacations and TransGlobal Vacations are also planning to offer the service in conjunction with Official Travel Documents.
