. October 14, 2008

ORLANDO, FL, July 20, 2006. The classic, Italian inspired design of the InterContinental Resort & Residences Orlando and the residential resort condominiums at Palazzo del Lago is the creative genius of Adache Group Architects, Inc., an award-winning architecture, interior design and planning firm with projects in 45 countries on five continents. The $800 million destination resort is slated for the edge of Lake Bryan on International Drive, two minutes from Walt Disney World(R) and close to the Orange County Convention Center, accommodating equally the discerning leisure and business traveler.

Celebrating almost four decades in business, Adache has designed over 150 hotels and resorts and over 30,000 condominium units. It is consistently ranked among the top 10 architectural firms in the southeast and one of the country's top 25 hospitality design firms. The Ft. Lauderdale-based firm caters to many high-profile hospitality accounts.

Palazzo del Lago is Italian for "Palace on the Lake." According to Company President George Fletcher, the intention was to create an ambiance of casual elegance through a themed experience. The architecture is influenced by the Italian Renaissance, which represented a period of new ideas, and a transition of culture, art and design.

"Palazzo del Lago is a marriage of old-world traditions and neo modern technology," explains Fletcher. "The project pays homage to the art, music, and literature of the 14th century Renaissance through its classic design while it is simultaneously defined by its distinctly high-tech composition."

The intricate architectural details that delineate the 42-acre site from more contemporary settings include vaulted and domed ceilings, arched windows and openings, colonnades, barrel tile roofs, traditional Italian frescoes, marble and stone sculptures, and the infinite details of exterior facade work and interior millwork. The landscaping is equally Mediterranean, with a lake, bubbling fountains and elegant gardens.

Convention Center and will be the largest InterContinental worldwide. It will offer an extensive list of resort amenities and a comprehensive conference facility with 114,000 square feet of convention, meeting and banquet space. When complete in 2009, the resort will include the InterContinental Resort & Residences Orlando, with 1,260 luxury hotel rooms and suites, of which with 585 are being sold as hotel-condominium units; as well as the residential resort condominiums, comprising 994 resort residential villas in five towers.
