Olympic-ready Nikko Hotel Re-opens in Beijing
Jinglun Hotel in Beijing, A 4-Star Nikko Hotel, Will Re-Open This Month
TOKYO, Japan, August 8, 2006. Nikko Hotels International's Jinglun Hotel in Beijing will re-open on August 18, 2006. The four-star hotel is just a couple of minutes' walk from the International Trade Center and the famous Silk Market.
The hotel has been closed since the middle of February for extensive renovations. At a cost of 90 million RMB (about $11.3 million), the renovations resulted not only in refurbished, stylish guest rooms, but also in updated infrastructure.
Located on Jianguo-Menwai Da Jie, a main artery in Beijing, Jinglun Hotel is in one of Beijing's best locations for both business and sightseeing. It will be close to some of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics games, such as the international soccer matches to be held at nearby "Workers Stadium."
There are currently three hotels in the Nikko Hotels International group in China: "Hotel Nikko New Century Beijing," "Hotel Nikko Dalian," and "Hotel Nikko Hong Kong." In addition, "Hotel Nikko Tianjin" is scheduled to open in April 2007.
Note to journalists: high-resolution photos of rooms at Jinglun Hotel are available on request.
