ENGLEWOOD, CO, September 1, 2009 - Charles S. Peck, president and chief operating officer for Destination Hotels & Resorts, today announced that the company will manage the award-winning Hotel Telluride located in the heart of the historic Colorado mountain town. The 59-unit boutique hotel is conveniently situated in downtown Telluride providing easy access to Telluride Ski Resort and offering picturesque views of the San Juan Mountains. The Hotel Telluride is consistently rated by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the top ski hotels in the magazine's annual "Best Places to Ski & Stay" reader's poll.

The Hotel Telluride features a beautiful lobby with a soaring two-story atrium, vaulted ceiling and views of the surrounding mountain range in every direction. The decor combines colors and textures of the wide-open American West with the style and comfort of a fine European Hotel. A stone floor, warm wool rugs, comfortable leather sofas, old world chairs and an antler chandelier, along with heavily carved antiques set the tone in the lobby with a huge stone fireplace as the centerpiece.

Each of The Hotel Telluride's 59 guest rooms feature a balcony with mountain views, custom furnishings, personal-size refrigerator, toaster oven-microwave and a CD player/clock-radio just to name a few of the amenities. Beds are appointed with natural feather bedding, cozy down comforter, 250-count embroidered sheets and lots of pillows.
