First Hospitality Begins Preparations for New Residence Inn, Maumee/Toledo, OH

MAUMEE / TOLEDO, OH, January 2, 2007. First Hospitality Group, Inc. today announced that they have closed on the land acquisition for the newest addition to their portfolio, a Residence Inn located in Maumee/Toledo, Ohio. Groundbreaking for the new development will take place in Spring, 2007 and the hotel is scheduled to open during the second quarter of 2008. The announcement was made by Robert Habeeb, President and COO of First Hospitality Group, Inc.

The brand new, 104-unit Residence Inn will replace the existing Residence Inn, also owned and managed by First Hospitality Group and located only a few miles away. It will be located at the southeast corner of Dussel Drive and Arrowhead Drive in a new development called The Boulevard. The hotel, which will be a "Generation 7" Residence Inn, will include prototype features and amenities and provide a more updated, customer-focused choice for guests.
