Anson-Stoner Acquires Hospitality Marketing Consultancy FZK

Winter Park, FL - August 23, 2010 - Winter Park advertising and communications agency, Anson-Stoner, announced today the acquisition of hospitality marketing consultancy, Fareed Zapala Koepke (FZK). While terms of the deal were not disclosed, the new firm will retain the Anson-Stoner name and boast capitalized billings in excess of $30 million.

“We're excited about this acquisition. FZK has an international reputation as the authority in hospitality marketing,” states Andrew Anson, president of Anson-Stoner. “The agency will benefit from FZK's deep reservoir of hospitality knowledge, enabling us to expand into the travel and tourism market segment,” adds Anson.

• Skytop Lodge, a historic 5,500 acre resort in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania
• Fernandez Bay Village, an authentic Bahamian getaway on Cat Island in the Out Islands of the Bahamas
• The Reef, a family-friendly resort on Grand Cayman Island

John Fareed, managing partner of FZK, joins Anson-Stoner as executive vice president, while Nina Zapala takes on the role of director of public relations, and Brent Koepke becomes associate creative director.
