Two Sage Hospitality Hotels Earn Top Awards
Portland's the Nines named to Travel +Leisure's “T+L 500” list of the World's Best Hotels & JW Marriott Denver on Conde Nast Traveler's “Gold List”
January 12, 2011 - Denver-based Sage Hospitality is pleased to announce that two of its hotels have been honored by top travel publications. The Nines in Portland, Ore., has been named to Travel + Leisure's “T+L 500 - The World's Best Hotels 2011,” and the JW Marriott Denver Cherry Creek is featured on Conde Nast Traveler's 2011 “Gold List.”

The 331-room Nines, which is located in downtown Portland's landmark Meier & Frank Building, was one of only two Oregon hotels to be honored with the prestigious Travel + Leisure award, which showcases the top 500 properties from around the world, A full list of this year's honorees appears in the January issue of Travel + Leisure.
Opened in 2008, the Silver LEED certified Nines has received multiple accolades for its customer care and unique style. The Starwood Luxury Collection hotel features an art collection of more than 400 pieces, curated by Andy Warhol's confidant Paige Powell.
The JW Marriott Denver was one of only six Colorado hotels featured on this year's Conde Nast Traveler “Gold List,” which is culled from reader survey responses and is also featured in the magazine's January issue. Currently undergoing a $3 million renovation of its 196 luxurious guest rooms, the hotel was previously featured on Conde Nast Traveler's “Gold List” in 2007 and 2009.
