Barnsley Gardens Named a Best Place to Stay in the World by Conde Nast Traveler's 2011 Gold List

Barnsley Gardens Resort is one of five Georgia properties to be included in this prestigious ranking. This is the second year in a row that the resort has been chosen as part of the Gold List. The Gold List properties were chosen from the 2010 Readers Choice Awards, which evaluate hotels and resorts around the world on the following criteria: rooms, services, food/dining, location, overall design and activities/facilities. Barnsley Resort's overall score was 89.9. It received the following scores in each of these categories: rooms: 93.7, service: 92.5, food: 88.8, location 84.6, design: 90.6, and activities: 89.2. More than 25,000 Conde Nast Traveler readers were surveyed to compile the awards list.
