The Resort

Conferences and Events
The Meritage Resort and Spa offers the largest ballroom north of San Francisco and West of Sacramento, and after a 131,000 square foot resort expansion it will include more than 50,000 square feet of indoor and covered outdoor meeting space. The spectacular Grand Salon offers 10,500 square feet, which can be easily configured for large conferences or for up to ten individual meeting rooms. The ballroom also features a unique pre-reception foyer with French doors that open to a terrace on both sides of the ballroom. The foyers, with floor-to-ceiling arched windows, add more usable space to the ballroom and create a light and airy ambiance. The Vineyard Terrace offers more than 3,250 square feet of covered, outdoor event space including the Terrace Bar. Once the expansion is complete in spring 2012, the Carneros Ballroom will provide an additional 7,300 square feet of flexible indoor event space plus 2,500 square foot pre-function space opening onto the Oakville Terrace, a covered 4,000 square foot space for receptions, lunches and dinners. The outdoor Event Piazza will have a croquet lawn, space for events, weddings and more.
Our one-of-a-kind Estate Wine Cave provides meeting planners and groups nearly 3,500 square feet of elegant event space underground. This space is perfect for groups of up to 200 and can be used for everything from weddings to receptions and trade shows.
