Choice Hotels/Cambria Suites Announce Yearly Awards
June 8, 2011 - The awards were given during the 57th Annual Convention of Choice Hotels International. First, the Cambria Suites hotel in Traverse City was honored with the Inn of the Year award from Choice Hotels. In addition to the Inn of the Year award, Alex Mowczan from Traverse City was honored with the Premier Alliance award, which recognizes exceptional owners who are truly committed to the brand and who work closely with Choice Hotels to enhance the brand's success. Mowczan is president of Summerside Properties, LLC and Apex Construction, both based in Traverse City, Mich.
Cambria Suites awarded Rod Piatt /Horizon Properties Group with the prestigious Developer of the Year Award for the second time in two years. Horizon Properties developed two Cambria Suites properties in Pennsylvania, one in Pittsburgh and one in Washington.
