Fog-encased Slides, Spider-webbed Cabanas and Ghoulish Cocktails Add to the Delight
San Diego, CA - September 14, 2011 - Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa and Marina will be getting into the Halloween spirit over two weekends in October with chills and thrills for the entire family. The potion for fun on Oct. 23-24 and Oct. 29-30 includes spooktacular activities throughout the property and a special, spine-chilling getaway rate for the weekend of Oct. 29-30.
“Our Halloween-themed weekends have enjoyed tremendous success, so we are excited to offer the activities over two weekends this year,” said Carl Velleno, director of spa, recreation and guest services. “The hotel provides a fun, safe environment for celebrating the holiday while also getting away to one of the most scenic spots in San Diego.”
Over each weekend, guests can delight in ghoulish fun such as poolside monster mash hula hoop contests, pumpkin painting and trick-or-treat bag decorating. Back by popular demand are hair-raising waterslides enveloped in eerie fog and enhanced with haunted music, ghostly sounds and spooky lighting. Spider-webbed pool cabanas and creepy cocktails for adults add to the fun. Come nightfall, families can trick-or-treat around the property then enjoy a spirited family movie at the pool.
