Ed Walls Appointed GM at Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa

October 13, 2011 - Ed Walls joins The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa as general manager. A proven leader with almost 30 years experience as a general manager, Walls' Starwood Hotels & Resorts journey began in 1996 as transition general manager, where he opened new hotels for Starwood.

He later moved into an area managing director role, and then general manager roles in Atlanta, GA. His most recent position has been leading the team at the Westin Peachtree Plaza, one of Westin's most recognized hotels. He is a proud graduate of the University of Florida.

The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa is located on the beach between Fort Lauderdale and the international hub of Miami.
