Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Set to Open Summer 2012

February 28, 2012 - Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Hotel & Resort, nestled along California's central coast on the picturesque Mandalay Beach, is set to transform the Southern California resort experience with a comprehensive refreshment and enhancement project. Set to for completion in Summer 2012, the project will improve all of the hotel's 248 guest suites. The hotel's public space including the lobby, meeting rooms and breakfast and evening reception area will also undergo a transformation later this year.

Each suite will be modernized with a living and entertaining space with custom designed casegoods and soft seating ideal for relaxation. The work area will be updated with new state-of-the art Herman Miller® ergonomic desk chair and mobile desk as well as specially designed lighting. Top-of-the-line sleeper sofas with easily movable seat cushions and rolling ottomans ideal for families or large groups as well as large LCD flat-screen televisions will also be added to all suites.

The newly revamped bedrooms will feature crisp white bed linens and extra lighting. The full-sized bathrooms will be updated with new custom built cabinetry, a contemporary shower and new custom double sink vanities.

“As the only all-suite resort in Southern California to sit directly on a beach, we are excited to offer guests innovative new amenities like the entry closet designed specifically to hold guests' surf gear and full-sized surf boards,” added Asdikian.
