Destination Appoints Steve Migliara Director of Sales & Marketing

FLORHAM PARK, NJ, September 11, 2006. Destination Hotels & Resorts recently hired Steve Migliara as director of sales and marketing for the Hamilton Park Hotel & Conference Center, one of the leading conference centers in the northeast. In his new position, Migliara will be responsible for spearheading the property's overall marketing and sales efforts.
"Steve brings significant experience in the hospitality industry to Hamilton Park," said Joe Crimmins, managing director of the New Jersey-based property, upon making the announcement. "His knowledge of the area and his expertise in the financial arena will be great assets to our team's sales and marketing efforts."
A New Jersey native, Migliara previously served as director of sales and marketing for the Founders Inn and Spa, a 240-room hotel, spa, and conference center in Virginia Beach, Va. Prior to that, he spent six years at the Ocean Place Conference Resort in Long Branch, New Jersey, where he was associate director of sales. In this position, he was directly responsible for the training and management of the sales team, and personally generated nearly a quarter of the resort's sales revenues each year for four years.
Prior to entering the hospitality industry, Migliara was in financial services as a branch office manager and commodities exchange broker with the Fidelity Mercantile Corporation.
Migliara attended Brookdale College of Lincroft, New Jersey and Monmouth University of Long Branch, NJ. He is certified in numerous sales training and customer service programs and is the recipient of several awards throughout his professional career, including Broker of the Month, Manager of the Quarter, Most Valuable Sales Manager and Sales Leadership awards.
He and his wife will be relocating to New Jersey.
