May 11, 2012 - Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort today unveiled plans for LeCiel, the Destin area's only contemporary boutique hotel experience. Located on the shores of Choctawhatchee Bay, LeCiel will officially open Thursday, May 24.

The name LeCiel, derived from the French word sky, is a fitting description to illustrate the stunning views and tranquil environment that guests will experience during their stay. Located on the banks of the Choctawhatchee Bay, LeCiel draws on the Gulf Coast's culture, colors and lush landscape for inspiration while the aesthetics of water, beach, bay, sun and sand sooth body and soul. In a chic $2 million transformation, interiors now boast rich mixtures of chrome, woods, copper, leather and fabrics. The element of water flows indoors with fountains, water walls and cool blue and green hues to set the tone of the experience before the guest even takes the first gaze onto the open bay. Accommodation choices include one-bedroom suites, king and double-double guest rooms with a hand-picked, sophisticated decor. One-bedroom suites will feature a full kitchen and dining room, and studio rooms will include a mini-fridge and microwave oven and Keurig in-room coffee maker.
