Chavana Spa Wins Leading Wellness and Spa Brand at Maldives Travel Awards 2012.

October 26, 2012 - Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - Chavana Spa was honored to receive the Leading Wellness and Spa Brand Award during the recent Maldives Travel Awards 2012, initiated by the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO).

With the aim to recognise facilities and service excellence provided in the industry, 21 awards were presented across multiple categories including spas, resorts, hotels, cruises, aviation and transport. MATATO currently represents more than 50 travel agents and tour operators in the Maldives, with its mission to enhance the travel and tourism industry through unity, empowerment and cooperation.

Chavana Spa, a Mandara Spa Company, began its operations in the Maldives at Chaaya Island Dhonveli in 2010. Today, there are eight Chavana Spa locations in total, including Chaaya Lagoon Hakuraa Huraa, Adaaran Select Meedhupparu, Adaaran Club Rannalhi and J Resort Alidhoo in the Maldives.
