New Castle, Widewaters Acquires Trio of Hampton Inns
FEBRUARY 22, 2007. New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a leading third-party hotel manager and development company, has acquired three Hampton Inns in cooperation with the Widewaters Group, a real estate development and management company based in Syracuse, N.Y. New Castle will manage the three properties located in Solon, Ohio; Erie, Pa. and Greece, N.Y.
The 103-room Hampton Inn Cleveland - Solon is 15 miles from downtown Cleveland, Jacobs Field, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Great Lakes Science Center, Browns Stadium and Gund Arena. Located at 6035 Enterprise Parkway, the hotel is nestled in the heart of Solon's upscale business district, and is a short walk from area restaurants, theaters and shopping.
The Hampton Inn Erie - South, located at 8050 Old Oliver Road in Erie, Pa., offers 101 guest rooms.
