New F&B Director Named at Renaissance Chicago

FEBRUARY 23, 2007. Renaissance Chicago Hotel is proud to welcome new Food and Beverage Director, Anthony Camillo to the downtown property.

With his culinary background, we feel confident that he will be able to raise our already well respected service to a new level. Teaming with our award winning Chef Michael Reich, this duo will set the gold standard not only for Renaissance hotels but other hotels in Chicago," said Catherine Mrowiec, General Manager of the Renaissance Chicago Hotel.

Camillo comes to the Renaissance Chicago Hotel with more than 18 years of experience with Marriott International. His positions have included: Executive Chef at Marriott Seaview Resort and Spa, Executive Chef at Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church, VA, Director of Event Operations at Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel and Director of Restaurant Operations at Fairview Park Marriott.

Camillo was born in San Diego California and raised on the New Jersey Shore, where his passion for culinary arts was formed at an early age. He began his culinary career at the Atlantic Community College (ACC) and then continued his education with classes at Culinary Institute of America, CIA.

He is an avid sports fan and enjoys water sports, skiing and traveling.
