Author Connie Donaldson Presents 'Heart of a Lion'

. October 14, 2008

ST. AUGUSTINE, FL, March 1, 2007. Enjoy an afternoon with author Connie Donaldson as she talks with guests and signs copies of her biography of Janet Lee Simpson, Heart of a Lion, from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday March 3, at The Inn on Charlotte in Historic St. Augustine.

Heart of a Lion is the larger-than-life story of Janet Lee Simpson, daughter of America's celebrated Flying Family, The Hutchinsons. Janet became the youngest enlistee in the Women's Air force Service Pilots (WASP) ...the best kept secret of WWII. The story is part action-packed adventure complete with plane crashes and dramatic rescues. The book also breaks the conspiracy of silence and shame that surrounds the fast-growing problem of senior alcoholism. Janet is that rarity, one who throws wide the window on her secrets, struggles and recovery, in hope that others may benefit.

Both author Connie Donaldson and Janet Lee Simpson will be present to sign books. The Inn on Charlotte, 52 Charlotte, St. St. Augustine, is serving a delicious taste of one of their favorite baked items during the signing. For more information call 904-829-3819.
