Vacation Resorts Signs Management Contract with New England-based North Star Vacation Club

October 28, 2013 - Vacation Resorts International (VRI), a provider of management and leisure services to vacation owners and an operating business of Interval Leisure Group (Nasdaq: IILG), today announced it has entered into a property management agreement with North Star Vacation Club, a shared ownership vacation club with units at three New England-based properties. They include North Star Lodge and Cedarbrook at Killington, located in Killington, Vermont; and Sheepscot Harbour Vacation Club located at Sheepscot Harbour Village & Resort in Edgecomb, Maine.

VRI will deliver a full spectrum of services, including reservations and rentals handled through its call center; resort operations such as front-desk check-in, housekeeping, and unit maintenance; financial assistance in the areas of planning, budgeting, and forecasting; and communications between the association and its members.

North Star Lodge and Cedarbrook at Killington are nestled in central Vermont's Green Mountains, long a favorite four-season destination. Accommodations at these properties offer guests all the comforts of home, along with a wide array of amenities and services. During the winter, Killington is one of the world's largest and most diverse ski areas, with more than 70 miles of trails for downhill skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing. Visitors can enjoy numerous other activities when the snow melts, including golfing on two PGA courses and biking and hiking through Northern sections of the Appalachian Trail.

Sheepscot Harbour Village & Resort has recently been refurbished and is located on midcoast Maine's Davis Island. Easily accessible right off historic U.S. Route 1, the area is known for its serene setting and stunning views. Among the numerous nearby activities and attractions for guests are whale watching excursions, lobster boat tours, quaint villages and towns, and Fort Edgecomb, with its historic blockhouse completed in 1809, one of the nation's best-preserved of this period.
