Steigenberger Hotel to Open 2017 in Taizhou, China
Steigenberger Hotel Group continues on its course of international expansion: Agreement signed for a fifth hotel in China
July 24, 2014 - Steigenberger Hotel Group has now signed an agreement for a fifth hotel in the country to be located in the multi-million eastern metropolis of Taizhou.
The Steigenberger flagship hotel in Taizhou will be housed in the top twelve storeys of the 300-metre City Towers, which will then become the city's tallest structure.
More than 200 rooms and suites will be available to guests, whilst an events centre extending over an area of 750 m2 will offer several conference, seminar and meeting rooms.
The whole of the 61st floor will be given over to a health and beauty spa facility which will be over 1,000 m2 in size have its own gym and treatment areas.
Culinary facilities in the form of several international restaurants will be installed on the 2,000 m2 top floor. There are also plans for a Lobby Bar and German Cafe Lounge.
The hotel is scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2017.
