Hilton Hotels & Resorts Opens New Hilton Zhoushan in Zhejiang Province on China's East Coast
ZHOUSHAN, CH. and McLEAN, VA. September 30, 2015 - Hilton Worldwide (NYSE: HLT) and Hilton Hotels & Resorts today announced the opening of Hilton Zhoushan, marking the debut of Hilton Worldwide's flagship hotel brand in Zhoushan city. The hotel is the newest addition to Hilton Worldwide's portfolio in the region, with more than 50 hotels already operating in China.Located on the northeastern tip of Zhejiang province on China's east coast, Zhoushan is one of the country's busiest port cities and also a growing tourist destination. Hilton Zhoushan is owned by Zhejiang Jinchao Harbour Hotel Co., Ltd and managed by Hilton Worldwide.

Hilton Zhoushan is located in the emerging East Harbor Lake Business Park of Zhoushan City, with a sweeping view of Mount Putuo, which is considered one of China's four sacred mountains and a pilgrimage site for Buddhism. The hotel is also close to tourist attractions including national tourism attraction Zhujiajian Island and the country's biggest and busiest fish port, Shenjiamen Seafood Street, making for an excellent base from which guests can explore the city.

In particular, the 1,100-square meter pillar-less Grand Ballroom East Sea Room also offers a view of Mount Putuo. Named after the Emperor's jade seal, this iconic restaurant has interactive counters that make the dining experience a visual feast as well. At Dongjiang Grill, guests can enjoy premium seafood, perfect wine pairings, sea views and a relaxing atmosphere.
