Carmel Boutique Inns Acquires Two Additional Hotel Properties in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California

October 7, 2015 - Carmel Boutique Inns (CBI) owner Denny LeVett announced the acquisition of two additional hotel properties in Carmel-by-the-Sea, for a total of six distinct inns under the company's portfolio. Effective July 31, 2015, the newest holdings include Monte Verde Inn and Casa de Carmel, both located just four blocks from Carmel Beach. Set for a soft renovation this winter, the 10-room Monte Verde Inn is located at Ocean and Seventh avenues featuring a Spanish-Mediterranean exterior set in white adobe with timber trim. Guestrooms include a mix of full kitchens, skylights, marble bathrooms and balconies with select ocean views; new hardwood floors, updated fixtures and furnishings will round out the renovation. Just adjacent, the streamlined Casa de Carmel - which will be rebranded under the Monte Verde Inn - sports seven guest accommodations with polished hardwood floors, premium bedding, select claw foot bathtubs and ocean views.
