Greenwood Hospitality Acquires Wichita Airport DoubleTree
WICHITA, Kansas - December 8, 2015 - Greenwood Hospitality Group today announced that it has acquired the DoubleTree by Hilton Wichita Airport hotel. Greenwood's Principal Thomas Conran made the announcement.
With 302 rooms the DoubleTree Wichita Airport is the city's second-largest hotel. It's a five-minute walk from Wichita Mid-Continent Airport terminals and a four-minute drive from Interstate 235.
The hotel's Legends Restaurant, a local favorite, offers world cuisine in a casual setting, plus a lunch buffet and daily meal/drink specials. The property also includes a fitness center and indoor pool. Additional amenities include 22,000 square feet of meeting space and a business center, plus a free airport shuttle.
