Quebec City, January 5, 2016 - Discover the marvels of this year's Hotel de Glace, now in its 16th season. Despite a late start to winter and unusually difficult weather conditions, the construction team went all out to be open for visitors today and every day from 10 a.m. to midnight through March 28. Entirely redesigned, its unique architecture, festive Ice Bar, enriching guided tours and exciting outdoor family activities make the Hotel de Glace a destination of choice to experience winter to the max!
Inspired by the Rivers theme, the design of this year's Hotel de Glace takes visitors on a fascinating voyage along imaginary rivers through a world of ice and snow.
Desjardins Grand Opening Night Friday, January 15 marks the official opening of the 2016 season for the Hotel de Glace, with celebrations kicking off at 7 p.m. A popular tradition, the Grand Opening launches this impressive, yet ephemeral work of art with fireworks, shows and live music.
