NEW YORK, N.Y. February 17, 2016 - HYATT Times Square's Bar 54, one of New York City's highest rooftop terraces, has introduced an innovative way to enjoy the sweeping skyline views of their 54th floor terrace on even the chilliest winter night. Introducing The Bubbles—two cozy, clear, igloo-like bubbles complete with modern and wintery white mid-century inspired furniture have been installed, allowing guests to sit outdoors and stay warm while enjoying the extraordinary views that stretch across Manhattan from the Hudson River to the East River, including the Chrysler Building, Central Park, all of lower Manhattan, and Times Square. The full HYATT Times Square's Bar 54 menu is available in The Bubbles, including specialty drinks crafted by cocktail icon Julie Reiner, fine wines, craft beers and a bevy of locally-inspired culinary delights.

The Bubbles are available every evening* this winter and have a two-drink minimum. Advance reservations are recommended for this unique cocktails in the clouds offering. Those seeking an intimate experience in The Bubbles at Bar 54 are also able to privately book The Bubbles, either for parties of two or up to 10. Larger groups are able to also combine their experience with booking an indoor private space at Bar 54, allowing larger groups who want indoor and outdoor spaces for parties, celebrations and more, to have both even the middle of New York City winter. Bar 54 will work with groups to customize their visit to The Bubbles whether guests want to do a sunset experience, champagne celebration complete with sabering, and more.

"We're excited to introduce this exciting, new way to enjoy cocktails in the clouds with the installation of The Bubbles," says Philip Stamm, General Manager of HYATT Times Square. "The Bubbles allow guests to indulge in our spectacular views and outstanding specialty cocktails and menu year-round. We're looking forward to guests and locals alike getting to experience The Bubbles this winter." *The Bubbles will be closed during extreme weather.
