Award Ceremony to Take Place at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach on March 6, 2017
Hospitality Design Magazine to Serve as Presenting Sponsor
The AIA Miami, Greater Miami & The Beaches Hotel Association (GMBHA) and Oberhausen Marketing & Public Relations announce the call for entries for the inaugural Miami Hospitality Design Awards. Project owners and licensed architects and designers from in the world with hospitality projects located in Miami-Dade County are invited to enter through Jan. 7, 2017. Hospitality projects include hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, lounges and bars, and a licensed architect must be a part of the team to qualify for entry.
"The awards will showcase excellence in architecture, elevate public consciousness of great design, and recognize those architects, designers, construction partners and hospitality venues whose work enriches our built environment," said Cheryl Jacobs, Executive Vice President, AIA Miami.
"With our support and that of AIA Miami, Oberhausen Marketing & PR and Hospitality Design magazine, the awards will recognize the wonderful diversity and design excellence that continues to put Miami's hospitality industry on the world map," said Wendy Kallergis, President and CEO, GMBHA.
Submission deadlines are as follows:
- Submit entry form, fee and classification: Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017
- Upload entries: Friday, Jan. 27, 2017
Entry fees:
- AIA Miami & GMBHA members: $125 per project
- Non members: $150 per project
The Miami Design Awards ceremony will take place on March 6, 2017, at the Faena Forum in Miami Beach.
