Elite Meetings International Announces the Acquisition of EliteMeetings.com
The purchase allows company to move forward on its long term vision
SANTA BARBARA, CA, January 16, 2008. Elite Meetings International (EMI) announced today the company has purchased the domain name EliteMeetings.com. Formerly owned by an unrelated company, the domain procurement ensures EMI owns all assets related to the EMI brand and name.
"The purchase of EliteMeetings.com reflects our strong commitment to the continued development and growth of our brand and services," says CEO, Kelly Foy. The company intends to launch version 2.0 of its Web site in the first quarter, in conjunction with the release of the 2008 edition of Elite Meetings magazine.

The launch of version 2.0 syncs well with the upcoming distribution of Elite Meetings magazine's next issue. The 2008 edition more than doubles the size of EMI's charter publication, showcasing 145 of North America's best meeting and incentive properties and 85 new properties on the horizon.
Additionally, EMI confirmed today the next two locations for its 2008 bi-annual Elite Meetings Alliance networking events.
