Barcelo Announces Opening in Hammamet, Tunisia
The hotel is the second Barcelo branded Resort in Tunisia
JANUARY 9, 2008. Spain-based Barcelo Hotels & Resorts announced the opening of its second property in Tunisia, The Barcelo Hammamet. The upscale hotel is located on the seafront and is less than two miles from the center of Hammamet. The hotel is owned by the Tunisian based, Miramar tourist group.
The Barcelo Hammamet includes a buffet and a la carte restaurant, as well as a spacious swimming pool, tennis courts and leisure activities including access to several area golf courses. Barcelo also operates the Barcelo Carthage Thalasso, another resort hotel in Tunisia.
