Historic Greystone Inn on Lake Toxaway Re-Opens With Liddell

When the Greystone Inn re-opened its doors this month in Lake Toxaway, N.C., following an extensive renovation, Liddell
was there to pamper guests with lavish bedding and sumptuous terry
products. Originally built in 1915 as a private residence and reopening
as an Inn in 1985, the Greystone has been recognized as one of the top
hotels in the world. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places,
the AAA Four-Diamond hotel has been awarded the “Most Romantic Inn” (Country Inn magazine), “Guest Room of the Year” (Andrew Harper's Grand Award), “World's Best” hotel (Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure) and listed as one of the “Most Romantic Spots in the South” (Southern Living).
For owners Shannon and Geoffrey Ellis who purchased the property in
2017, only Liddell - known for designing the most indulgent linen
products in the world - would do.

Located at 220 Greystone Lane, the Greystone Inn features the Lakeside Dining Room, decked with a fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows and unobstructed views of the lake and mountains that give guests the feeling of being on an Alpine retreat. Guests can also grab a latte and pastry from the Mansion or indulge in an evening of cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Mansion's Lobby Bar. The newly-opened water's edge Spa and Salon features a wide range of health and beauty solutions, including facials, manicures and pedicures, massages and herbal body wraps. The Greystone Inn is a popular wedding and meetings destination.
