AD1 Global Acquires Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Barefoot Landing
AD1 Global, a hotel investment, acquisition and development
company announced the purchase of the Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach
Barefoot Landing.
This is the second hotel the company has acquired in June.
"We are expanding our portfolio by targeting
acquisitions in strategic markets,” said Alex Fridzon, AD1 Global CFO. “These
recent investments presented a unique opportunity to acquire well-known brand
hotels in fantastic locations. We are very excited.”
The 157-room Courtyard by Marriott Myrtle Beach Barefoot
Landing hotel is located in the heart of the Grand Strand, one of the nation's
most popular tourist destinations attracting more than 18 million visitors
annually. It is also the second fastest-growing metropolitan area in the
country (per 2018 census estimates).
The Myrtle Beach hotel features an onsite restaurant,
contemporary rooms, free WiFi, desks with ergonomic chairs, flat-screen TVs
with premium cable channels and coffeemakers. There's also a business center
with workstations and printers, and a meeting room. Other amenities include an
indoor pool and a whirlpool, an exercise room and free on-site parking.
The property is also conveniently located only a mile from
the beach within easy walking distance of the popular Barefoot Landing shopping
and entertainment complex.
This is AD1 Global's third acquisition of 2018. They also
bought the Wyndham Garden Greenville Airport hotel earlier this year and the
Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Rocky Mount. The company is also developing hotels
in Palm Bay, Dania Beach, Tamarac and Orlando, Florida.
“We are very excited to welcome these outstanding properties
into our family of hotels,” said Daniel Berman, AD1 Global CEO.
AD1 Global now has 14 hotels in its portfolio featuring well-known brands such as Hilton, Marriott and Wyndham. The company is actively engaged in finding new acquisitions.
