. October 14, 2008

MARKHAM, Canada, September 20, 2006. NORTHWIND, a provider of the Maestro Enterprise Property Management hotel software and reservation solutions for hospitality, announced that it appointed David Warren Director of Services and Sales for the United Kingdom and Ireland. David will open a direct office in the UK and take responsibility for NORTHWIND's strategic business development to further increase NORTHWIND's profile in the market. David brings 25 years of hospitality experience to his new assignment and has held senior positions with De Vere Hotels and Hilton and represented Hotel Information Systems and Ramesys.

"David has been associated with the Maestro product line for over five years within the reseller network and it made sense to bring him on board following NORTHWIND's decision to set up the direct office in the UK," said Warren Dehan, President of NORTHWIND's U.S. Operations. "David will be responsible for service and sales activities within the UK and Ireland, a region which already holds a number of Maestro installations including The Red Carnation Group and Signature Hotels."

David Warren said, "By setting up a direct office in the UK, NORTHWIND is now able to better focus (and maintain its service integrity) on client care and business development in the region. The strength of the Maestro Enterprise Suite enables me to present a completely integrated system to hotels and conference centers. The system provides full integration between its Spa and Activity Scheduling system and Maestro Front Office on a single-image database for better service across a property, or throughout a hotel chain, because of its seamless access to guest data." David also stated that NORTHWIND's Four Diamond Service ensures the highest quality of client service and training in the UK. "I relish the opportunities we will have in the coming years as we build our U.K. team, nurture long-term strategic partnerships and deploy exciting new solutions in the U.K and Ireland."

'NORTHWIND's commitment to the U.K. hospitality industry is reflected in this new appointment,' said Warren Dehan. 'David is the ideal candidate to take Northwind U.K. to the next level. NORTHWIND's ambitious plans for the U.K. market require strong and capable leadership, which David has proven repeatedly in his previous roles." NORTHWIND UK will be based outside London near Gatwick.
