BEVERLY HILLS, CA, January 3, 2008. Palmer Hospitality Group (PHG) announces the executive appointments of Lesley Anne Carey and John Sears. PHG is comprised of four hospitality divisions focused on four- and five-star boutique hotels: Management, Consulting, Acquisition & Development, and K Hotels Sales and Marketing.

With a strong history of commitment and success in the hospitality industry, Lesley Anne Carey has been newly appointed as President of Palmer Hospitality Group. Carey brings to PHG over 18 years of experience with 4 and 5 star luxury boutique hotels and resorts internationally. In her new role as President of PHG, Carey oversees the four divisions with an emphasis on branding and global development. Currently, her projects span the globe - from Southeast Asia to Eastern Europe to South America. Carey previously held senior operational positions at The Orlando Hotel, Los Angeles; The Lodge at Rancho Mirage; The Crescent Hotel, Beverly Hills; La Mancha Private Villas & Spa Resort, Palm Springs; Chateau Elan Winery & Resort, Atlanta; The Argyle Hotel, West Hollywood. Her specialties are in hotel operations, renovation, repositioning and brand development, management, food and beverage, marketing and sales, budget planning and profit/loss controls.

John Sears brings over 18 years of hospitality industry experience to his new role as Vice President of K Hotels, the sales and marketing division of Palmer Hospitality Group. In his new position, Sears will be responsible for implementing key programs to drive revenue for K Hotels' members. Prior to joining Palmer Hospitality Group, Sears was president of Boutique Hotel Advisors and then EVP Marketing and COO of Boutique Hotels & Resorts International. During his extensive hospitality career, Sears has been heavily involved in the acquisition, repositioning, opening, and resale of hotels, resorts, clubs and conference centers worldwide. As a result he has developed a wide and deep network of relationships with boutique hotel owners, managers, consultants and service providers both in the U.S. and abroad.
