The Fantastic Performances Package highlights some of Lincoln Center's top musical performance offerings during the first half of the year and, for shoppers at heart, the hotel has collaborated with Manhattan's grand dame of luxury shopping, Bergdorf Goodman, to create a Super Chic Shopping Package.

The upcoming Lincoln Center 2008 season showcases world renowned talent and incredible performances - all at one of the world's most legendary venues, Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall. With the Fantastic Performances Package, guests will delight in a night of fine music and luxury five-star accommodation at Mandarin Oriental, New York - just steps away from Lincoln Center. Budapest Festival Orchestra - Friday, February 8 at 8pm

Iv'an Fischer conducts with Alexander Toradze on the piano for a rare opportunity to hear the complete music of Bart'ok's ballet The Wooden Prince, performed by the premier orchestra of the composer's homeland. A pre-concert lecture at 6:45pm will be held in Lincoln Center's Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse.

Budapest Festival Orchestra - Sunday, February 10 at 3pm

Conductor Iv'an Fischer, mezzo-soprano Ildik'o Koml'osi and bass L'aszl'o Polg'ar perform R. Strauss's Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche and First Waltz Sequence from Der Rosenkavalier and Bart'ok'S Bluebeard's Castle. A pre-concert lecture will be held at 1:45pm in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse.

Russian National Orchestra - Saturday, February 23 at 8pm

Schubert's Unfinished Symphony No. 8 in B minor in completed form by Anton Sfronov and Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 1 in D minor are performed with conductor Vladimir Jurowski and Stephen Hough on piano. Walter Frisch will speak in a pre-concert lecture at 6:45pm in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse.

Russian National Orchestra - Sunday, February 24 at 3pm

Vladamir Jurowski conducts Brahm's Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat major and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 6 in B minor ("Path'etique") with Garrick Ohlsson on piano.

Academy of St. Martin in the Fields - Tuesday, April 8 at 8pm

Murray Perahia is conductor and on piano for this fine performance of Hayden's Symphony No. 104 in D major ("London"), J.S. Bach's Piano Concerto in D major and Mozart's Symphony No. 31 in D Major ("Paris") and Piano Concerto No.21 in C major.

Minnesota Orchestra - Sunday, April 13 at 3pm

This orchestra of increased international acclaim will be performing with conductor Osmo V"ansk"a and Lars Vogt on piano showcasing Sibelius' The Dryad, Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor and Mahler's Symphony No. 1 in D major. A pre-concert lecture will be given by Steven R. Cerf at 1:45 in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse.

Rates start at USD2,650 for two nights in a Hudson River View Room, USD2,890 for two nights in a Central Park View Room and USD6,315 for two nights in a Central Park View Suite. Additional tax and service charges apply. The Fantastic Performances Package must be booked a minimum of a month in advance of the desired performance date. Additional nights of accommodation may be booked at prevailing rates. This package is subject to the availability of performance tickets and hotel accommodations.

Super Chic Shopping Package with Bergdorf Goodman

For shoppers with friendly exchange rates, there's never been a better time to shop 'til you drop in Manhattan with Mandarin Oriental, New York's new Super Chic Shopping Package. The package features two-nights in complimentary upgraded accommodations or a special rate for two nights in the luxurious signature two-bedroom Taipan Suite. This combined with fringe benefits at Bergdorf Goodman, Manhattan's grande dame of luxury shopping, makes for a memorable jet-set weekend break for post-holiday sales in January/February, scouting for a new spring/summer wardrobe, or indulging in the latest fall/winter fashions later in the year.

The Super Chic Shopping Package is available from 1 January - 5 September 2008 and includes:

Package rates from 1 January - 31 March 2008 and 1 July - 5 September 2008 range from USD2,150 for two nights in a complimentary upgraded Central Park View Room, to USD4,300 for two nights upgraded to a Central Park View Suite, or USD9,000 for two nights in the signature two-bedroom Taipan Suite (regularly priced at USD8,500 per night). From 1 April - 30 June 2008 package rates range from USD2,350 for two nights in a complimentary upgraded Central Park View Room, to USD4,800 for two nights in a complimentary upgraded Central Park View Suite, or two nights in the signature, two-bedroom Taipan suite for USD11,000. Additional nights of accommodation may be booked at prevailing rates. These package rates do not include tax and service charges. A minimum of a week in advance is required for booking. This package is subject to availability.
