Hampton Opens 15 Hotels in November
DECEMBER 11, 2007. Hampton, the international brand of more than 1,450 mid-priced Hampton Inn(R) and Hampton Inn & Suites(R) hotels, today announced that it opened 15 properties in November 2007-representing 1,442 additional rooms. The new openings include four Hampton Inn hotels and 11 Hampton Inn & Suites properties. All openings are franchised, newly constructed hotels.
"With these 15 new hotel openings, ranging from California to Florida, we remain on target to exceed our previous record of 127 openings, set in 1998," said Phil Cordell, senior vice-president, Hampton brand management. "We expect to open 120-plus hotels this year and have even higher expectations for 2008."
