Tapestry Collection by Hilton Debuts in Brazil With Opening of Almenat Hotel

Hilton has welcomed the first Tapestry Collection by Hilton in South America with the opening of Almenat Hotel in the greater São Paulo region, in Brazil. The latest addition to the company's portfolio in the country enables Hilton to provide the best of both worlds to travelers who are looking for a unique experience, from an independent hotel, with the consistency, reassurance and recognized level of service expected from Hilton. As part of a global portfolio of more than 65 hotels, each Tapestry Collection by Hilton features upscale, original hotels offering one-of-a-kind style and vibrant personality, while encouraging guests to explore the local destination.

Located only 21 miles from downtown São Paulo, Almenat Hotel is surrounded by the Atlantic Rainforest and minutes away from Embu das Artes, a delightful town founded by the Jesuits in 1554. The colonial history and heritage remain almost untouched and can be explored by guests during the weekends and holidays handicraft fair, filled with artists and artisans.

Guestrooms and Amenities

Almenat Hotel, with 138 guestrooms, with king size or twin beds, is the ideal location for those who want a quick leisure escape from the city or an extended stay to relax on endless open green space. The hotel offers a fully equipped gym, tennis court, two soccer fields, one multi-sport court, indoor heated and outdoor pools, and a walking trail in the midst of the Atlantic Forest. Dining

Almenat Hotel has two restaurants that offer a variety of food and beverage options with Brazilian and international flavors celebrating São Paulo's culture and ethnic influences. From a delicious breakfast served at Embu Restaurant to a creative, Italian inspired food at the Japi Restaurant and Bar to a drink with a lake view at the Bowling Bar, Almenat Hotel has something for all tastes. The hotel also offers a lobby market for those on the go.

Late this year, the property will also unveil two outdoor fire grills for private events.

Like every other facet of hotel operations, architecture and design firms are adapting their work to ensure the safety and well-being of both guests and staff. New ways to bring Wellness into hotel spaces are being explored and these solutions are taking on many forms. Hotel designs are incorporating more open floor plans, open air spaces, high ceilings, outdoor areas and operable walls into their spaces. Guests no longer want to be packed into tight areas.
