USA, Chicago, Illinois. January 24, 2022

Magnificent Mile luxury lifestyle hotel LondonHouse Chicago (85 East Wacker Dr.), an Oxford Capital Group property, welcomes new leadership to its food and beverage department in Director of Food & Beverage Homero Villarreal and Director of Outlets Rene Garcia. The two bring nearly 35 years of combined experience in the hospitality industry to LondonHouse and its culinary offerings including LH Rooftop, Bridges Lobby Bar, the catering department, and in-room dining.

"Homero and Rene both bring invaluable insight into the culinary industry," says Juan Leyva, General Manager of LondonHouse. "We look forward to the continued excellence of the hotel's food and beverage program under their direction."

As Director of Food & Beverage, Villarreal ensures the quality of food, beverages, and services throughout the hotel through menu selection, coordinating with suppliers, and more to maintain overall guest satisfaction. In his 20 years of experience, he has overseen a family-owned liquor store, managed high volume restaurants and bars, and created innovative beverage programs. Villarreal comes to LondonHouse from Diageo, the prestigious liquor supplier, where he served as Hospitality Advisor. At Diageo, he acquired invaluable insight into market trends and developed the ability to implement them ahead of the curve.

"I am honored to be named the Director of Food & Beverage at one of most iconic hotels in Chicago," says Villarreal. "My goal at LondonHouse is to continue to cultivate the excellent dining experience guests expect through consistent and quality cuisine, unique yet contemporary cocktails, and unmatched customer service."

As Director of Outlets, Garcia is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all aspects of the operations of LondonHouse's food and beverage outlets, including training, management, and day-to-day activities. Garcia began his foray into the industry as a security guard in local bars and nightclubs. His passion and eagerness helped him transition into nightclub management. He most recently served as the Food & Beverage Manager at the Wit Hotel and then as Manager at one of the city's most prestigious steakhouses, Chicago Cut Steakhouse.

"As Director of Outlets, it is my job to set an example for the entire food and beverage team," says Garcia. "I strive to exemplify what great hospitality looks like each day, so we can provide LondonHouse guests with memorable and extraordinary experiences."
