Microtel Opens in Morgantown, WV
DECEMBER 5, 2007. A 57-room Microtel Inn & Suites hotel has opened at 15 Lawless Road in Morgantown, WV. The new hotel is located in the heart of the city off I-79 at exit 152, 10 minutes from the University of West Virginia and close by to several hospitals, the busy high-tech corridor along I-79, and numerous recreational trails. The hotel is owned by Wilfong Hospitality, LLC of Morgantown and managed by SKY Hospitality, LLC of Palm Harbor, FL.
Microtel Inns & Suites is the award-winning chain of all new-construction economy/limited service hotels. This is the fifth Microtel hotel that has opened in West Virginia in the past 15 months. An additional Microtel will break ground in Princeton, WV before the end of the year.
