The hotel will be located in the heart of the Town at Trilith, an unparalleled 235-acre, internationally inspired town in Fayetteville, Georgia located adjacent to Trilith Studios.

Construction on the community's new showpiece is underway with an anticipated opening date of fall 2023. A comprehensive brand reveal for the boutique hotel will be announced this summer.

"In partnership with world-class hospitality professionals, we are committed to deliver a hotel that will surprise and delight both business and pleasure travelers."

The hotel will join Marriott's Tribute Portfolio, a family of independent boutique hotels that offer an unmatched sense of character and create spaces to bring people together for unique experiences. The project included Hodges Ward Elliott who served as an advisor.

"The Town of Trilith has created a perfect setting for an experiential, lifestyle hotel," said Joe Collier, president of Mainsail Lodging & Development. In addition to its exclusive design characteristics, the boutique hotel will showcase a street-level signature restaurant and dramatic bar setting which afford views of the terrace and events lawn. Hotel Group Meetings: The Great Outdoors

There is some welcome good news in the Hotel Group Meetings sector. There seems to be a resurgence in activity - across all sectors and all sizes - from small board meetings to large in-person groups. However, hotels must remain flexible and proactive, as they seek to provide venues and programs that are productive, comfortable, and safe to all parties. One major development is the expansion of outdoor meeting activities. This trend not only serves to meet regulatory health standards, but it also promotes an environment of well-being. According to a recent study from WorldHealth.net, spending just 29 minutes outdoors can result in a 45% increase in productivity; and 63% of employees reportedly felt invigorated after being in fresh air. Combined with guided physical activities and healthy food and beverage offerings, a sense of wellness and productivity are established. The September Hotel Business Review will report on what some hotels are doing to accommodate the revitalization of group meeting business in their operations.
