Dora Hospitality Breaks Ground on AC Hotel by Marriott Within the Union at Fishers District
Dora Hospitality LLC, a full-service nationally recognized hotel development and management company has broken ground on the AC Fishers IN, the very first AC by Marriott to begin construction in the state of Indiana. The hotel is planned to be open late in 2026 and is located within the The Union at Fishers District in the Indianapolis suburb of Fishers. The hotel will be owned by Fishers Hotel Partners LLC, in partnership with local hotelier Dora Hospitality.
To kick off the event, Vincent Dora of Dora Hospitality, City of Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness, Fishers Economic Development Director Megan Baumgartner, and President of Hamilton County Tourism Karin Radcliff, each shared their excitement for the project. Many other individuals were in attendance to celebrtate the milestone including local business leaders like David Becker, Chairman and CEO of First Internet Bank who is financing the hotel project.
The 135-room hotel, seated on top of approximately 15,500 square feet of retail space, will feature meeting space, state-of-the-art fitness equipment and European-inspired beverage and food offerings in the AC Lounge® and AC Kitchen. The new hotel is expected to accommodate the expanding business and leisure travel needs of the rapidly growing Fishers suburb, the 4th largest city in the state of Indiana.

Attendees were able to learn more about the project by looking over the floorplans for the hotel, try a sampling of the tapas style menu that will be offered at the hotel, get more information about Marriott and the Bonvoy program, take home some great door prizes from the brand, and one lucky attendee was gifted a weekend getaway gift certificate for the hotel once open!
Located near Interstate 69 and 116th Street, The Union is one of five developments within the expansive master plan of Fishers District. The hotel was designed by Luminaut Architects, will be constructed by Holladay Construction Group, and was financed by First Internet Bank.
